The secret is out. Everyone who visits Austin these days leaves with something great to say. They can’t stop talking about the legendary live music, burgeoning restaurant scene and unique culture. There are many delicious local restaurants with great flair. We loved Franks. Not a usual restaurant for us. Franks is so unique and very much  “The Flavor of Austin.” Everything is so delicious and tasty. There is every kind of hotdog you can imagine — beef, antelope, rabbit, pork sausage, bratwurst — all with a Texas flair.

The Bloody Mary’s are the best I have ever tasted and the options are numerous. Just when you think there can’t be anymore different styles, for the end of the meal, you get their coffee list. Hot, cold all fabulous!

Franks is a great place for a Saturday afternoon lunch. Go with a group of friends, that way you can try more than one thing on the menu!
